ARTISANS DE GENEVE is an independent workshop. On our website only, we offer a service of personalization of timepieces at the request of our customers within our limited capacities. We do not manufacture nor sell watches.
We are neither affiliated to nor authorized by the manufacturers of the client’s watches, that we accept to customize. They do not approve modifications or personalizations made to their products by unauthorized third parties
Therefore, our customization services are provided for personal and private use only. Any other use, in particular of a commercial nature, is not approved by ARTISANS DE GENEVE and will invalidate our warranty.

A day dedicated to future generations
Watchmaking has always aroused passion and wonder. We all remember discovering our first watch. Our inner child remembers this symbolic moment when time becomes quantified and shapes into a small object we can carry everywhere.
One Wednesday a month, we open our workshop’s doors, four children and four watchmakers around a workbench to discover the craft’s secrets.

Introduction to
watchmaking fundamentals

The first part of the initiation is a time for discovery and interaction to familiarize yourself with the watchmaking vocabulary and the many components of a watch that will be used.
Skills training:

Watch decoration is a technique to enhance each element of the watch through a play of light reflections. Beveling is a traditional and passionate craft passed on from a master to his apprentice. Supervised by our beveler, each child explores the gestures, using specific tools: carbons, files, polishing paste.
In the shoes of the watchmaker:
assembling a movement

At the workshop, each child is accompanied by a watchmaker. At the workbench, they learn the watchmaking gestures with the help of tools: magnifying glasses, screwdrivers, file and then disassembling and assembling a mechanical movement.
Awarding the
certificate

The last step marks the end of the initiation—a certificate given to each child, a souvenir of a memorable afternoon.
