Prelude
When Andrea Pirlo asked us to revisit his favorite Rolex® model, he entrusted us with an extraordinary challenge. Fulfilling the dream of one of the greatest football players of all time was no simple feat. By personalizing his timepiece, we made together, a skeleton version of his own Submariner®.
This personalization has been requested by a private customer. It is a sample of our know-how and of the personalization services made upon request of our customers. Andrea Pirlo cares about each detail. He wanted his timepiece to be unique. We designed each modification, crafted each element so it could reflect the technicality of his football and refined style. The smallest detail became essential.

The bezel
Andrea Pirlo chose a carbon forged bezel insert, a lightweight and resistant material that gives his timepiece a modern allure.
The dial
The openwork dial and its pure lines reveal each detail of the skeleton movement, while the rose gold indexes enhance the piece.
The case
The case features an exclusive combination of know-how: polished chamfers, satin-brushed strip, sandblasted lugs. A delicate and distinctive work providing contrast and shine to the timepiece.

I have always been passionate about watchmaking. Very early, I started collecting watches. Through time and timepieces, I have learned to value and recognize the know-how and the countless crafts that stand behind a timepiece. I care about details, and mostly the finest and hidden ones, I have found the same passion in the work of Artisans de Genève. What I like the most about my timepiece, is that it is unparalleled, it resonates with me and my career. It is a work of art.
Andrea Pirlo wanted the movement of his timepiece to be skeletonized. It took more than 2 years of research and development and the most passionate craftsmen from all over Switzerland to achieve the modifications of the mythic 3130 movement. Each component is entirely dismounted, cut and beveled by hand. The result offers a new insight of the 3130 caliber. As a final personal touch, the rotor is engraved with the inscription “Il Maestro 1995-2017”.
