When this legend approached us to personalize his 116508 gold Daytona® into his unique watch, we knew we would need to delve deep into our horology know-how to fulfill his dream.To turn a lifelong companion, a repository of memories, dreams, and stories, into something even more unique – a truly personal timepiece that would reflect Adam’s ever-changing environment, his path, music and life. Together, we began an extraordinary journey into the future while never losing sight of the past: an adventure where cutting-edge innovations met traditional know-how to achieve Adam’s personalization project.

Artisans de Genève is, first and foremost, a human and horological encounter. A Maison to which we entrust and empower to re-imagine our timepieces to reflect our own image. An artisanal workshop whose only language is the aspirations and needs of its clients. It brings together all the watchmaking know-how in a single location, Geneva. It’s within this setting that modifications are carried out by hand, honoring the achievements of our predecessors.

Speaking from the heart, with trust and authenticity. This dialogue between the artist and the artisan thrives on the play between transparency and light – two pivotal elements in Adam’s customization. The sapphire dial uncovers the hand-carved skeleton movement and beveling. The work of art is enhanced by the Neon green luminescence entirely developed by Billight® in Geneva.

MECHANICS
& TRANSPARENCY
A glimpse into the movement and mechanisms of a timepiece is a rare honor. Delving into a watch’s inner workings unveils the profound craftsmanship of master watchmakers. For his personalization Adam decided to transform every component of the 4130® caliber within his timepiece. Each part has been meticulously modified by hand by our artisans. Every bridge undergoes cutting, sandblasting, beveling and polishing by hand, followed by an anthracite finish. Satin-finished using a buff, the wheels are then coated with a rose gold galvanic treatment. The balance bridge is carved from a steel block, entirely beveled and polished and to achieve an immaculate finish.

A GLIMMER
IN THE DARK
Nothing is more contrasting than the clash between vibrancy and transparency. The sapphire dial and skeletonized movement allow light to penetrate every part of Adam’s personalization. The luminescent material highlights every detail—the bezel’s vivid, singular hue clashes with the appeal of glossy surfaces.The Super-Luminova hands, with 12 Neon reference points on the dial, create a captivating visual tension.

UNPARALLELED GREEN
Unique and captivating, Neon results from extensive hours of research and development. The result is a unique color best suited to illustrate Adam Levine’s energy. In addition to the clash of contrasts, there’s also a clash of eras. The vintage-inspired personalization is adorned with contemporary touches for a subtle and daring result. THE BEZEL
The bezel evokes the allure of bygone eras, courtesy of its retro bakelite finish, complemented with a Neon green luminescent insert developed by Billight®.
THE DIAL
Crafted from a single block of natural sapphire, the dial draws inspiration from vintage timepieces.Its transparency offers a captivating view, revealing the intricacies of watchmaking. The piece is covered with a luminescent plate for an ever-present glow.
THE ROTOR
We have re-imagined and customized it for Adam Levine by adding a phosphorescent X insert hand-coated with luminous material.

The REALIZATION
This unprecedented collaboration fostered a harmonious blend of innovation and traditional craftsmanship. Vintage watch lovers will note the subtle presence of the aesthetic codes of yesteryear dear to Adam. The dial’s design, along with the bezel finish and the crown guard machining still give that singular old-world charm. Yet, upon a closer look, the intricate skeletonized movement unveils many components geared towards a more modern, futuristic watchmaking. The balance bridge, entirely designed and crafted in-house, showcases multiple watchmaking techniques, each demanding hours of delicate precision. Distinctive and contrasting finishes capture the multifaceted essence of Adam Levine’s universe and distinctiveness.
