We are neither affiliated to nor authorized by the manufacturers of the client’s watches, that we accept to customize. They do not approve modifications or personalizations made to their products by unauthorized third parties
Therefore, our customization services are provided for personal and private use only. Any other use, in particular of a commercial nature, is not approved by ARTISANS DE GENEVE and will invalidate our warranty.

FOCUS ON THE MODIFICATIONS
The skeletonized movement elegantly reveals the mechanics of the timepiece, featuring a Rolex® 4130® movement with bridges and plates hand-cut using a small bocfil saw. The mirror-polished aventurine dial is enhanced by a satin-finished rose gold bezel, complemented by an aventurine insert. Every element of the watch, from the hand-faceted rose gold hands to the solid gold hour-markers, has been designed to create a perfect balance between material, form and light.

The delicate and fragile nature of aventurine, contrasting with the hardness of glass, makes the machining and polishing processes very intricate. This material requires specialized and highly technical expertise to shape it into a dial and for all assembly operations.

Depth and

The dial features appealing contrasts between mirror-polished aventurine, translucent sapphire and metallization for improved readability. The transfers are applied by hand and the hour-markers are crafted from solid rose gold.

Over 32 hours, the bridges and plates of the Rolex® 4130® movement were entirely hand-cut using a small bocfil saw and decorated before being colored in anthracite tones known as Black Or. The chronograph mechanism is revealed through the three counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.

Other
modifications
Bezel
Carved from a block of rose gold, the bezel is satin-brushed and then hand-polished. The starry sky of the aventurine dial extends to the bezel, adorned with an aventurine inlay.
Hands
The hours and minutes hands are handcrafted from a block of rose gold. Chamfered on their upper part and polished with diamond facets, they shine with enhanced brightness.
Rotor
The gold rotor has been openworked by hand using a small bocfil saw. Each line has been chamfered and circular satin-finished by hand to add contrast and depth to the skeletonized movement.

As with every one of my customizations with Artisans de Genève since 2018, the Ventura story unfolds naturally, as if every piece of the puzzle falls into place, between symbols and encounters, whether by chance or not. VENTURA is a living adventure on my wrist and I am ready for the next ones.
I consider this timepiece the centerpiece of my collection. It tells not just a story of watchmaking and rare materials but also singularity. The idea that the value of an object is determined not by others, but by the one who wears it.
