The website www.artisansdegeneve.com (hereinafter the "Website") is edited and published by ARTISANS DE GENEVE SWITZERLAND SA (hereinafter "ADG" or "us"). Please refer to our Legal notices for further information on this subject.

These General Terms and Conditions of Service ("GTCs") apply to all service orders placed by ADG customers ("Customers" or "you/your") via the Site.

By using our Site and placing an order with ADG, you agree to the following terms and conditions in full and without reservation :

• Privacy Policy;
• Cookie Management Policy;

in force on the day of the order, as well as to the laws in force, to the exclusion of any other documents or advertisements issued by ADG and which have only an indicative value.

No special conditions may prevail over the T&Cs unless formally accepted by ADG.

Prior to his order, the Customer :

• Declares that he/she is of legal age or has the authorization of his/her legal representatives, and that he/she has the full legal capacity to commit to the GTCs and to his/her order with regard to ADG.
• Undertakes to act as a natural person, as an individual, on his/her own account and for his/her own personal use.

ADG reserves the right to modify the T&Cs at any time.

The fact that ADG does not at any given time invoke any of the provisions of the GTCs and other conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any such conditions at a later date.

ADG restores, customizes and modifies watches, at the request and on behalf of its Customers and for their own personal use (hereinafter the "Services").

ADG does not manufacture or sell watches.

The examples of Services presented on our Site have been created at the sole request of our Customers. These examples are representative of ADG's expertise and we reserve the right, at our discretion, not to repeat Services. Please contact us to discuss the Services that we could provide at your request.

To legitimately place an order for our Services, you must :

• Be the owner of an authentic branded watch (hereinafter referred to as "Watch");
• Have and provide us with all documents certifying the authenticity of your watch.

If you are unable to provide us with the necessary documentation, or if there is any doubt about the authenticity of your watch, your order will be rejected without prejudice.

If you are looking to buy authentic watches and original products, we recommend that you visit the brands’ official websites and obtain a list of the official retailers nearest your home.

Finally, because we are a craft-based company and our workshops have extremely limited capacity, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to give a favorable response to your requests and orders.

Furthermore, by placing an order for our Services, you also agree :

• To use the watch customized by us for your own personal use only and for strictly private purposes;
• Not to resell the customized watch.

ADG expressly declines all liability for any other use you may make of the Watch customized by us at your request.

You may send your request for Services directly to us by e-mail at contact@artisansdegeneve.com or via our Site, following the procedure described below.

On the presentation page of each of our examples of Services, when available, a "request this service" button appears. When you click on this button you are redirected to a request form.

The request form must be completed with all your contact information and any additional instructions (customization and additional tasks). The request form is sent subject to your ticking the corresponding box to accept our GTCs. To send your request, please click on the "send my request" button.

When we receive your request, you will receive a summary e-mail and a request number within a maximum of 24 hours. If you do not receive this email please check your SPAM box if necessary or contact us by email at contact@artisansdegeneve.com.

The acknowledgement of receipt of your request is in no way a confirmation of your order as this only takes place after we have examined your request and depends on our workshop’s capacity to process it.

After processing your request, we will inform you of your request status as soon as possible, but within 5 days at the latest.

If you do hear from us within this period, your order is considered to have been rejected.

ADG reserves the right to refuse any request or order without justification and without prejudice.

If we confirm your request, you will receive by e-mail:

• Confirmation of your order;
• Your invoice and detailed instructions for paying the deposit as final confirmation of your order;
• Confirmation of any additional tasks you wish to entrust to us.

You have a period of 5 weeks to send us your Watch to be personalized from the confirmation of your order. Any watch received late will incur a 10% surcharge on the price of our services.

ADG retains possession of your Watch until you have paid in full the amounts owing for the Services ordered and tasks entrusted.

All prices for our Services, applicable taxes and other charges are shown on our Site and are those in effect on the day of the Customer's request and confirmed when the order is confirmed by e-mail.

We reserve the right to change the prices at our sole discretion, at any time and without notice.

Some countries may be subject to additional charges (duties, taxes). The Client is responsible for paying VAT to the tax authorities in his country of residence, along with any additional taxes and charges.

Invoices issued by ADG are payable in two stages :

• Deposit payment, corresponding to a percentage of the total amount of the order which may vary between 30 and 50% depending on the Services ordered. All orders will be considered final once the deposit has been paid. The deposit paid by the Client is not refundable, regardless of the date or the reason for the cancellation.
• Payment of the balance of the order, when the Services and tasks entrusted are finalized and the Watch is made available to the Customer.

ADG uses the SIX Payment Services Saferpay payment system for credit card payment such as Visa, American Express, Mastercard. ADG also accepts payments by bank transfer: please contact us to receive our bank details.

The deadlines for the performance of the Services and the provision of services indicated at the time of the order are as accurate as possible. The fact that the deadline is exceeded may not give rise to damages, deductions or the cancellation of pending orders.

By accepting these T&Cs, you waive the right to claim compensation for any material or immaterial damage that may result from a delay in the announced deadlines.

When we have completed our Services, we will send you photographs of your completed watch, together with our invoice for the balance of your order, which is to be paid before your watch is made available.

In view of the personal and unique nature of the Services we offer you, we would like to deliver your watch to you by hand in person. A meeting and a moment as unique as your customized watch, in our workshops, during which you will recover your watch and we will be able to get to know you better and share with you our passion for watchmaking.

Therefore, in a minimum delay of 10 working days after we have received full payment for your order, we will contact you to confirm that your customized watch is available in our workshops in Geneva and arrange an appointment with you for its delivery.

When your customized watch is made available, you should check the condition of your watch and report any incident to our after-sales service within a maximum of 24 hours by:

As the Services offered by ADG are performed on request and in accordance with your own requirements, the right of withdrawal is excluded.

ADG is an independent company and is neither sponsored by, associated with, approved by, endorsed by or in any way affiliated with any watch manufacturer.

ADG will customize your personal watch at your request. Due to our interventions, it is possible that the manufacturer automatically cancels the original warranty of your watch. When you place your order, you understand and accept that the manufacturer’s warranty cannot apply to your watch transformed by us in this way.

However, ADG guarantees its Customers that the quality of the work carried out on watches by ADG is strictly in line with the highest standards of fine watchmaking. Once its work is completed, ADG checks and regulates the watches in various positions and at various temperatures in its Geneva workshops.

We guarantee that the Watches we customize for you will operate smoothly for a period of five years, from the date on which we make it available to you.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, loss, theft, or damage due to improper use or the intervention of third parties not approved by ADG following our customization work.

ADG’s warranty is only valid on presentation of a certificate provided when the customized watch is made available, dated, signed and corroborated by our customer file.

ADG expressly excludes any liability to you or third parties for any use of your Watch, other than for your own personal use and for strictly private purposes, that is contrary to the law or any applicable regulations. ADG excludes any liability arising from the violation of any rights which the manufacturer of the Watch may assert in connection with the Watch in Switzerland or abroad, in particular in the event that the Watch may no longer be used for any reason (in particular in the event of confiscation) as a result of such violation. This exclusion of liability shall apply in particular in the event of an offer to resell or resale of the Watch to a third party, ADG also reserving the right to claim compensation for any loss that ADG may suffer in this context. It is agreed between the Parties that this exclusion of liability of ADG has in particular the consequence that the price of the services provided by ADG is not refundable.

The brand names of the products mentioned on the Site are trademarks owned exclusively by third party companies. Any mention of the names or brands of these companies is for reference purposes only.

All intellectual property rights, including the brands, of the personal watches upon which we operate on your demand are the property of third-party companies. These third-party companies have not expressly approved the modifications we make to the original watches, so our company does not have an explicit permission or license from them and is therefore acting independently.

Any mention of the name of third party products and brands on the Site is for reference purposes only.

ADG assists its Customers in the customization of their Watches. All intellectual property rights relating to the personalization of watches by ADG, including the processes, the ideas and concepts proposed and developed by ADG for its Customers in connection with its Services are protected by intellectual property law (including trade secret law and copyright law) and remain the exclusive property of ADG.

The maintenance and after-sales service of the Watches that have been the subject of our Services are carried out by us or by our company's approved establishments. Centers are available by region.

Before any maintenance and service work is carried out, ADG will present you an estimate for confirmation.

Any provision of the GTCs which is totally or partially contrary to Swiss mandatory law shall be severable and any total or partial invalidity of such a clause shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the clause in question or of the other clauses of these terms and conditions.

The T&Cs are presented on the Site in French and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the French and English versions, the French version shall prevail..

The GTCs are governed by Swiss law, without regard to the principles of conflict of laws.

In the event of a dispute concerning the interpretation, execution or termination of the T&Cs, we encourage you as a matter of priority to contact us with a view to resolving the dispute amicably via :

If the dispute cannot be settled amicably, you agree with us to bring the dispute before the Courts of the Canton of Geneva (SWITZERLAND), subject to a petition to the Federal Court.

ADG reserves the right to make changes, revisions, corrections and/or improvements to the content of the Site, including all the terms and conditions governing the Site, as well as these T&Cs, at any time without notice, but may not be held liable for them.

You agree to all revisions of the Terms and Conditions and T&Cs and we invite you to visit this page and associated pages periodically to review the Terms and T&Cs that apply to your orders.
